Fleetweek 2016 is May 25th-May 31st. Ships will be open for tours 8am-5pm with free admission.

~Event: Parade of Ships (5/25)

Time: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
The Parade of Ships will signal the start of 2016 Fleet Week New York. Participating ships will be announced at a later date. It is anticipated that nearly 4,500 Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen will participate in this year's event. Event is free and open to the public.

~Event: Navy Band Concert (5/25)

Time: 5 p.m.
Location: Pier A, 22 Battery Place | Manhattan, New York
Navy Band Northeast Rhode Island Sound will perform a public concert at Pier A near Harbor House in Battery Park. Event is free and open to the public.

~Event: USO Bike Build (5/26)

Time: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
USO volunteers will assemble 300 bikes that will be distributed to service members on ships/units participating in Fleet Week New York for their children at home. Event is open to the public for viewing, but will not open for public participation.

~Event: Military Day at Battery Park (5/28)

Time: 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Location: Battery Park | Manhattan, New York
Event will include military band performances, boot camp-style exercise session, military static displays, demonstrations, and more. Event is free and open to the public.

~Event: U.S. Coast Guard Search and Rescue Demonstration (5/28)

Time: 12 p.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Location: Homeport Pier | Staten Island, New York
In conjunction with Fleet Week New York, a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter will conduct a Search and Rescue demonstration over open water near the Homeport Pier in Staten Island on May 28, from noon to 12:30 p.m. During the demonstration, a Coast Guard rescue crew will drop a mannequin into the water to simulate a person in distress. A rescue swimmer will then jump into the water to secure the mannequin. Both the rescue swimmer and the mannequin are then lifted securely back into the helicopter, and the helicopter will depart the area. Event is free and open to the public.

~Event: Annual Remembrance Day at Lake Cemetery (5/28)

Time: 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Location: Lake Cemetery, Forrest Ave & Willowbrook, Rd. | Staten island, New York
The annual neighborhood remembrance day at Lake Cemetery will honor the contribution of women in wartime, including American Legion Auxiliary, Gold Star Mother's, and active duty females. Event is free and open to the public.

~Event: Fleet Week New York Community Music Festival (5/29)

Time: 12 p.m.
Location: Flagship Brewery, 40 Minthorne St. | Staten Island, New York
The Flagship Brewery and community members will host a music festival in honor of Fleet Week New York. Military and local bands scheduled to perform. Event is free and open to the public.

~Event: Staten Island Memorial Day Parade (5/30)

Location: Forest Ave. | Staten Island, New York
Time: 12 p.m.
Service members will participate in the annual parade. Event is free and open to the public.
