My kids love the idea of going on a picnic, so we pack up what seems like half of our refrigerator a few times a year and head out to one of our favorite picnic spots.
We’re lucky, in Staten Island, to have so many great picnic spots to choose from! Here’s some of my family's favorite picnic spots in Staten Island:
Location: Alice Austen House
Features: Picnic Areas, Garbage Cans, Benches and more
What my kids love: the boats and fisherman
What I love: The view and the happiness my kids get when a big barge passes by.
Location: The Beach
Features: Lots of places to sit, parks close by, prime seashell hunting.
What my kids love: sand play, the water, and they have lots of space to run
What I love: The relaxation everyone gets from being at the water.
