The Snug Harbor Heritage Farm is Snug Harbor's most recent agricultural endeavor.
As the name implies, the Snug Harbor Heritage Farm is cared for in an environmentaly viable manner so that it will claim permanence on Staten Island and continue to produce fresh fruits and vegetables for years to come.  Currently, Heritage Farm is drastically changing perspectives, increasing awareness about the importance of eating locally, and improving the quality of life for those who live, work, or visit the New York City area.


Gerardi's Farmers Market & Nursery

Established in 1985 as only known as the “fruit stand” on Richmond Terrace, Enzo Gerardi became known as a local landmark. He started from a single folding table and hanging scale to a well-respected family owned and operated produce market, full service garden center and farm. We have 2 farms totaling 43 acres in Atlantic County, NJ, which brings you Jersey fresh produce, and vegetables. We receive fresh produce daily and weekly shipments of plants. Farm fresh fruit, vegetables and other produce is waiting for you. Gerardi’s Farmers Market offers a wide selection of healthy and great tasting produce.

Decker Farm

Decker Farm features avariety of fresh, hand-picked produce and seafood all grown and obtained locally. The market also features cheeses, local honey and a variety of prepared items, such as soups, crab cakes and risotto cakes.

City Hall Park Greenmarket

The City Hall Greenmarket brings fresh food from local farms to City Hall Park, at the doorstep of New York's landmark government seat. Bowling Green Greenmarket

The Bowling Green Greenmarket brings fresh offerings from local farms to Lower ManhattanÂ’'s historic Bowling Green plaza.  Twice a week year-round neighbors, commuters, and visitors from around the world stop to load up on the seasonÂ’s freshest fruit, crisp vegetables, beautiful plants, and freshly baked loaves of bread, quiches, and pot pies.

SI Ferry Whitehall Terminal Greenmarket

Tuesdays & Fridays, 8am-7pm
The Staten Island Ferry Terminal Greenmarket brings the best from local farms to ferrygoers of all stripes every Tuesday and Friday year-round. Wilklow Orchards and Remsburger Maple Farm team up to offer a cornucopia of locally grown orchard fruit, live plants, seasonal vegetables, maple syrup, honey, pies, and pastries, all of which travel well on boats.

New Amsterdam Market

The market brings together butchers, bakers, grocers and other regional vendors and is steadily adding to its prepared-food lineup. New Amsterdam also has themed days at the market that highlight different kinds of food—from cured meats to hot breads, jarred products, even imported organic stone-ground chocolate.
